Lenten Photo Challenge
Feb. 22 - Apr. 9, 2023
Our Lenten Photo Challenge is a creative, reflective way to engage with your faith and seek after God throughout the season of Lent.
Each day is assigned a different word. You're encouraged to either take a picture or find a picture sometime during the day that makes you think of that word.
You can use that word and image as a basis for your own prayer and contemplation each day. You can also post that picture to social media using our hashtag: #PCOLentPhoto.
Find this year's word list on our "Lenten Photo Challenge" page under the "What We Do" menu heading.

Maundy Thursday Worship Around a Simple Meal
Thursday, April 6 - 5:30 p.m.
Maundy Thursday is the day when we commemorate Jesus' last supper with his disciples in that upper room just hours before his arrest, trial, crucifixion, and death.
To celebrate this holy day together, we will combine worship with a simple meal of bread, soup, and dessert. Our meal together will be interspersed with prayers, Scripture readings, and celebrating communion at our individual tables.
This is a free meal. Please join us.

Good Friday Tenebrae Service
Friday, April 7 - 7:00 p.m.
A tenebrae service is a service of darkness and shadow - a particularly powerful and meaningful service in which we walk through Jesus' last days ... last moments ... last breath.
Our readings from the gospel of Matthew will be interspersed with various hymns as well as the extinguishing of candles one by one. As the candles go out and as Jesus gets closer and closer to the cross, the sanctuary around us gets darker and darker until we end the service in complete darkness.

Easter Worship Service
Sunday, April 9 - 10:00 a.m.
We gather together on Easter morning to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Join us for prayer and praise, for celebrating the Lord's Supper and for exploring and sharing the good news of the Risen Christ with one another.

Holy Humor Sunday
Sunday, April 16 - 10:00 a.m.
Holy Humor Sunday is a way to continue celebrating the abject joy and ridiculous upside-down nature of the resurrection.
It is a Sunday full of silliness and (appropriate) jokes. It is a Sunday to do things backwards and upside-down - a Sunday of kazoos, feather boas, interactive Scripture readings, and so much more. Above all, it is a Sunday full of joy!
